Johnson Hall - Gardiner, Maine
JOHNSON HALL PERFORMING ARTS CENTER is a nonprofit organization presenting a wide range of programs in historic Johnson Hall
Opera House in downtown Gardiner, Maine. The renovated first floor performance space seats 110 and is flexible for many purposes-from
plays and concerts to classes, workshops, arts camps, and meetings. We produce events and programs, and also rent the hall
to other groups for events and private parties. Johnson Hall collaborates on arts programs in the schools, at the Boys & Girls
Club of Greater Gardiner, and at the Gardiner Public Library. Plans are moving forward to restore the entire building, including
lobby and dressing rooms on the second floor, and a 400-seat theater on the third floor. Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center

Monica Grabin - Singing History for the Classroom
Monica Palmes Grabin has been performing for all kinds of audiences since she was a girl in the sixties. Her repertoire
includes literally hundreds of songs. She accompanies herself on guitar, banjo, and autoharp, with anecdotes about origins
of instruments, the physics of sound, anything that might come to mind. Performances are interactive, and a lot of fun!
